ECONEX CHROMATIC TRAPS
Traps for the detection, monitoring and mass trapping of
agricultural pests.
Chromatic traps are traps in which a certain colour is used as the main method of attraction.
They are used for the detection, monitoring and mass capture of many types of pests. They can be used purely as chromatic attraction traps, or with a pheromone, which together with the attraction of colour increases the effectiveness of the captures. For example, it can be used to capture the olive fruit fly and many other insect pests both in agriculture and forestry.
YELLOW CHROMATIC TRAPS: The yellow chromatic traps, in sheets or rolls, are apt for the capture of whitefly, mainly the Bemisia,and species of aphids from the Aphididae family.
BLUE CHROMATIC TRAPS:The blue chromatic traps, in sheets or rolls, have the same characteristics as the yellow chromatic traps and are mainly used for the capture of thrips. In general, the yellow and blue chromatic traps are placed with a density of 2 to 4 traps for every 1.000 m² (for detection and monitoring) and 1 trap for each surface area from 5 to 25 m² (for mass capture).
WHITE CHROMATIC TRAPS: With the same characteristics as the yellow or blue chromatic traps, white traps are used with a pheromone diffuser for those cases where we do not want it to interfere with the visual attraction of the insect it captures. The white chromatic traps are placed with a density of 1 to 2 traps per hectare (for detection and monitoring) and 10 to 20 traps per hectare (for mass capture).
BLACK CHROMATIC TRAPS: The black chromatic traps, in sheets or rolls, are specifically designed for the capture of the South American tomato pinworm Tuta absoluta
RED CHROMATIC TRAPS: The ECONEX RED CHROMATIC 40 X 25CM trap is specifically designed for the capture of the spotted wing vinegar fly Drosophila suzukii.
Chromatic sheets
The chromatic sheets are adhesive traps consisting of a polythene sheet that is sunlight resistant (in yellow, blue, white, black or red), with a 2x2 grid printed in black on both sides.
The sheet is coated on both sides with a solvent-free pressure sensitive adhesive, which is also protected with a sheet of translucent silicone paper on both sides.
A margin of 1 cm on the longest sides of the sheet are left free of impregnation for ease of handling.
The sheets have holes in the corners for easy installation.
The traps are activated by removing the sheet of silicone paper.

Chromatic rolls
100 M X 30 CM, 100 M X 15 CM, 50 M X 30 CM and 10 M X 30 CM rolls:
The adhesive chromatic rolls are made of a polythene sheet that is resistant to sunlight. The colours are yellow, blue, white or black and are coated on both sides with a solvent-free pressure sensitive adhesive.
These traps are suitable for use in greenhouses and large horticultural crops. They are designed for indoor and outdoor use.
The 100 M X 30 CM rolls control a surface area of 1.000 to 1.500 m².
The traps are activated by unfolding them and are active 24 hours a day for 6 to 8 weeks, or until the trap is completely saturated with insects.

Caution:
The surfaces of the sheets and rolls are coated with a pressure sensitive contact adhesive. Therefore, they must be kept away from leaves, flowers, people and pets.
